Terms of service

1. Agreement and eligibility

Rollbum operates in the United States. These Terms govern the Rollbum iPhone app, rollbum.com, the Shopify store, and related photobook ordering and support services. By using the services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for accurate account and checkout information, safeguarding sign-in credentials, and activity under your account. Notify hello@rollbum.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, text, and designs. You give Rollbum and its service providers limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, format, enhance, transmit, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and fulfill the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content and must not submit unlawful, abusive, exploitative, infringing, or malicious material.

4. Previews and personalized production

You are responsible for reviewing spelling, photo selection, crop, page order, format, and page count before payment. Screens and printers reproduce color differently, and normal paper, binding, bleed, trimming, and production tolerances can cause reasonable variation. We may make technical changes needed to manufacture a book without materially changing the design.

5. Products, prices, and checkout

Shopify displays the authoritative merchandise, variant, price, discounts, shipping, taxes, and final total before you authorize payment. A project is not an order until Shopify creates the order and confirms the required payment state. Closing the app after a checkout callback does not cancel or prove payment; use the Shopify order-status page or contact support if the result is unclear.

An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin production, not merely when a payment request is submitted. We may reject or cancel an order for suspected fraud, technical or pricing errors, unlawful content, production limitations, or another legitimate reason. If we cancel a paid order before fulfillment, the approved refund is returned through Shopify to the original payment method. Photobook orders are individual purchases and do not enroll you in a subscription.

6. Shipping, cancellation, and refunds

Production and carrier transit are separate. You are responsible for a complete and accurate delivery address. Personalized production can begin quickly, so cancellation or changes are not guaranteed after payment. The Shipping Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy form part of these Terms. Nothing in them limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the services, interfere with security or operation, access another person's account or content, automate abusive requests, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, reverse engineer except where law permits, or use the services to create or distribute unlawful material. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the services.

8. Rollbum materials and third-party services

The services, excluding your content, are owned by Rollbum or its licensors and protected by law. Apple, Google, Firebase, Cloudflare, Shopify, RPI, payment providers, and carriers provide parts of the experience under their own terms and privacy notices.

9. Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features while continuing to support existing paid orders and legal obligations.

10. Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Rollbum is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from providing the service. Nothing excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Contact and changes

Contact hello@rollbum.com with questions. The version shown in the Shopify store applies to a purchase; material changes do not retroactively rewrite an accepted order.
